J.C. is an international training and development specialist with an M.A. and an Ed.M in counseling psychology from Columbia University, where he specialized in Cross Cultural and Multi-Cultural psychology. He has led hundreds of seminars in over 25 countries, training thousands of business professionals to be better managers and leaders. J.C. has extensive experience in assessment and competency based interviewing. He has run assessment centers and conducted hundreds of last-round, behavioral-based interviews for organizations. He has also worked with Talent Acquisition teams, Recruitment and hundreds of line managers to fine-tune organizational interviewing processes as well as trained hiring managers on the nuances of objective assessment and interviewing. Other areas of focus include performance management, coaching and feedback, group dynamics and team development, diversity and cross-cultural competence and presentation skills. J.C. is an amateur photographer, an avid cook, and lives in New York City.
